2020 is nearly over and I believe these are the most divisive shoe to release. It’s was either love or hate, no in between. The tongue being sewn down was what threw me off. But seeing that the thread can be cut really changed my views on the shoe.
Another thing that sold me on the shoes overall was how it was put together. I love imaging used on the box and issue paper. Those details make it stand out from other collaborations. The use of mesh is different but is a nice change up.
Do I dare say this is the 2020 shoe of the year? Might be too early to declare, time to wait and see.
